I have this in my car, but the only drawback is that I cannot stick it to my dashboard as I have a dashboard cover on it. So I put it in the same compartment where odds and ends end up over time, but it starts to lose it's stickiness there is no going back. You have to buy a new one. But then again, I didn't have it mounted on my dashboard either!
