I would recommend this In a heartbeat! You turn on the ports as you need them. There are 28 ports on this device It will be the only one you will ever need. This Is a Home Run!!

I was going to mount this to a wall. When it arrived, it has magnets on the back of it. You can just stick it to the side of your computer. It is a fairly big hub. Works well. I like that you can turn off ports to save energy. It looks impressive...

  • The Manhattan MondoHub works great.

The USB Hub has operated flawlessly for me since it was connected. (About two months now) There are individual switches for each port which I use to isolate my devices, only turning the on as needed. At this time we are only connecting 6 USB memory sticks, one external HD, one External DVD and three Kindles. I use the external power supply to power the devices so as not to overload the computer. I also use the ports and power supply to charge mobile devices such as the Kindles and phone. As noted by other reviewers the magnets that are supplied to hold the Hub to a Computer case were not adhered to the hub, some had fallen out and were loose in the packaging. This was OK as I did not want to use the magnets any way and would have removed them. The could have been epoxied in if they were needed. I used hook and loop tape to mount the Hub to the side of my computer desk. No complaints so far.

  • Works great!

This is the best hub that I have ever owned. Just plug it in and it's ready to go. The cord is long enough so that it does not have to be on your desk.

First thing out of the box I had to re-glue all the magnets on the bottom of the case before I could hang it on the side of my tower. In doing so, I noticed there were only five magnets instead of the six that were supposed to be there. No biggy, it still hangs on the tower OK! The other problem is that everytime I start the PC I have to un-plug the USB cable and plug it back in before the system will acknowledge its there. All in all the case is solid and the switching capability is great. It allows you to turn off the ports not being used. And also know that the port sockets fit loose.
