Works well, BUT, I strongly suggest that you follow the advice to totally run down the battery 5 times and totally recharge, before you use it normally (recharge everyday when it is just partially used). Also, know that this is a big and heavy battery so you will not want it if you are using the HP in your pocket.

The new battery holds a charge much longer then the original battery. After charging and almost completely draining charge three times as recommended, the battery was down to only 80% charge after three days of use. The battery cover that comes with the battery, fit and matched my IPAQ perfectly.

The battery I purchased was a great deal! I would recommend this site to anyone looking for good quality products at a very reasonable price.
