cbastrop Rating:5.0I have 4 servers hooked to one monitor, keyboard, and mouse through this switch, usb connections. Beware that it only comes with 2 cables. You will need to order 2 more separately. The only thing I would change is to have the indicator lights (for which server is active) on top of the device instead of the side. It can be difficult to see which server I'm looking at while standing at the server rack.

th3builder Rating:5.0Ok so these beauties are pretty nice to have laying around. They allow you to extend your SATA power & data cables. Of course I ordered the wrong kind but will keep these just incase I need them.

robin922 Rating:5.0When you buy one of the smaller and lighter laptops you must give up something in exchange, one of those items is all those USB ports. This little item is small, lightweight and white. While color may not appear to matter, if your computer bag/backpack is dark colored like most, it's much easier to see when it falls to the bottom. Perfect for folks who have a lot of USB stuff and not enough ports.

Brian N. Rating:5.0As far as extension cables go, this does the job, doesn't take up much space. Great product.

dlpres Rating:5.0I've been doing plenty of research on affordable IP KVMs - all the recommendations led to the Lantronix unit, and it delivers. It has funny connectors, but once you're set up it is straightforward. I can control old-school PS/2 PC servers and trigger a clunky PS/2 KVM - all from my Macbook, key mapping and everything works fine. I was pleasantly surprised that the unit did come standard with both a power supply and a mounting plate, even though it's wasn't mentioned anywhere. One con: PS/2 mouse control is not good - Lantronix goes into detail in the manual explaining the reasons why, it's pretty much a technical limitation of PS/2. If possible, do buy the USB version and only use USB. It is possible to control a USB mouse with this version of the SpiderDuo, even from a local PS/2 console mouse.
