This item does exactly what it promises. The extra long cord is just what I needed to setup my home office.

Works fine. It was bought for home safety. I bought two.

I got this for my teenage brother's dorm room. He hasn't moved in yet, so we haven't used it, but I can tell you it looks great and has a nice LONG cord. We plan to plug it in behind his bed, then snake it around to his desk so he will have lots and lots of plugs available where he needs them.
