No sound! If you consider that the definition of refurbished means that the item is tested and that parts are replace to make it as good as new, this definitely doesn't describe this phone. Not only did this phone come after Christmas although I was told twice that it would come on the 23rd, but when it did arrive there was not sound (It did not ring nor could you hear music or youtube videos. Tried to get the Apple store and T-Mobile to trouble shoot to no avail. This is simple a used phone; it was worn in some areas and had scratches. I am so disappointed!

Good product, just disappointing shipping time This phone has worked exactly as advertised. Based on other reviews, I guess we were the lucky ones. It is refurbished, so there are some minor scratches but overall it's in good condition. I would have given 5 stars, but shipping time was ridiculous! It was originally supposed to be a Christmas gift, but didn't arrive until late January despite repeated contact with Great Offer Stock and promise after promise that it was on its way. Despite all that drama, my daughter has used it for about six months now with no problems and couldn't be happier with it. We use the SIM from Tracfone and the service has been great!

Yes, as long as it is a GSM unlocked phone. You have to contact Tracfone or go to their website to get the proper hardware (under the "Bring Your Own Phone" section), and they'll send you a SIM card specifically for the GSM unlocked iPhone. Once I watched a YouTube video to figure out how to insert the SIM card, I was actually surprised that it was easier to set up than some of the other phones we purchased directly from Tracfone.
