Read All Silhouette Curio Ultimate DIY 5-in-1 Machine Reviews

Just a quick disclaimer, I have never used any of the Silhouette products and I am not that computer oriented. I can usually figure it out but I need a manual or video or something, this machine comes with as about as much instruction as a smart phone, basically none. I guess they assume you have experience with their other products. Videos are pretty much nonexistent because the machine is fairly new, I found joining a Facebook group to be helpful in getting my questions answered. I will master this as I am sure you will, just be patient

You cannot use this to cut Any Vinyl!!!!! I was taken back with that!!! Not very happy! And it's small don't waste your money if your buying it for anything more than card making etc... Not Impressed!!!!

I was really looking forward to getting my machine and was quite surprised by the lack of documentation that came with the machine. I did not occur to me to remove the protective coating on the cutting board before use. If that is in the thin user guide I did not see it. It should be labeled on the cutting board one should not have to guess. And then when I called the company they did not see if I had removed the protective sheet or not. As well the instructions suggested changing the cutter well I did not realizing that the software also changed the settings. So I ended up ruining my cutting board after cutting two designs. The machine had only been out of the box for an hour and was ruined. And now I think I must buy a new cutting board because my paper will not stick to the board now. All in all I am really disappointed in this machine. I got some cut outs and tried them on the machine and changed some of the settings to see if that would help and still cannot get simple designs to cut at all, Will I recommend this product? No I think I will just buy another machine that is easier to use or try and sell it off to some other person and see if they can figure out this machine. Overall very unhappy with this machine. Will not recommend that others buy it at all, and am sorry that I bought it. I am a very experienced computer user and know all about printers and software so getting this machine up and running should not have been difficult for me so am very disappointment with this rather expensive machine that does not work as expected. Will not buy another one any time soon,
