Very well made with exception holes are a bit too close together and am concerned they may rip through if belt cinched down too tight

Belt looked impressive, but after approximately 30 different days of usage, leather eyelet holes for belt insertion are breaking apart. Very disappointing for a belt represented by Tommy Hilfiger...

Based on one of the reviews I was expecting belt to be wider- otherwise appears to be a qiuity product. Just wish it was at least 1 & 1/2 in wide to better work with jeans
