The pic was poor quality so I knew I was taking a chance on the looks of this shoe, so I guess I cannot complain about how unattractive it is. It is an overall oval shaped shoe not the traditional athletic shape that is wide in the toes, gets skinnier in the middle & a little wider at the heal. It does have some sparkle to it & comes with a set of plain tan & a set sparkly tan shoe strings, so the originally design must have been for a very young girl. It says Skechers but it is very rigid & the foot bed is perfectly flat...no foam like all the other Skechers I've owned or tried on (if you are walking on large gravel, this might be a plus). It is also a tight fit, so no orthotics would fit & if you are in between a Narrow & a Wide width, you may find this shoe a little uncomfortable. On the other hand if you like really snug, you will love it. While the Skecher's I am used to come out-of-the-box comfortable, plan you will have to gradually "break in" this shoes. Hopefully they will become more comfortable. (My first day I was able to wear them all morning which included a 30minte dog walk & 1 1/2hr shopping trip but had to remove them upon my return.) If you're looking for a shoe that fit like they used to make them; this is it! But when it comes to comfort, you will have to decide if this type good or bad.
