Back Living in 'The Classic Vintage Days'
Our preference was having a white lightweight 100% cotton chenille bedspread after enduring a very heavy weighted comforter for 4 years. From childhood, both hubby and I liked and remembered the vintage and classic old-fashioned white chenille style bedspreads our mothers and grandmothers donned on their beds. Those were happier times and perhaps bringing back the chenille bedspreads has psychologically provided comforting memories of days gone by for us. I was stunningly delighted my hubby liked our new bedspread even more than me. After the initial laundry wash, our king-size bedspread hung nicely to cover the three outer sides. While two standard white chenille pillow shams comes with this set, I had to search elsewhere to locate similar king-size white chenille pillow shams to match the bedspread and standard-size pillow shams. No one would ever know they don't match as they are similar in style. It makes for a beautiful bed when all done up. One cannot beat the old classic styles not to mention this particular bedspread is named after my son!

The size is definitely not as listed. The product details listed the King width as 120" and the length as 110". However, the width is only 104". The length is 115". I would put it on the bed sideways if the pattern was the same on all edges, but the "top" doesn't have a pattern, so it won't work that way. The quality is OK.

Chenille Bedspread
I love this bedspread. It washes up like a dream. Very elegant looking. It runs small. I ordered the king size for my queen size bed and it is perfect. The sides would NOT touch the floor on a king bed. Also the shams are standard which would not look good on a king bed. I am extremely happy with this purchase and thankful I read the reviews before purchasing which stated that it ran small.
