5yr old loves it Very bright and colorful. Quilt is stiff initially. But gets soft after first wash. Its not too thick. So may not be that effective in winter. But with a sheet underneath, it would do the job. Will definitely recommend for kids.

Great set, especially for the price Got this set for my 12 year old soccer playing and soccer loving son. It washes well, and so far, has held up well. The colors are great for a boy his age and the sheets are soft and comfortable. This was a great purchase and I'm very happy with it.

For every soccer-mad kid This was bought for my son's first 'big-boy' bed. He LOVES it, and especially loves the soccer ball sheets and pillow case. Material is good. Thickness of blanket is fine for all climates in houses with good central heating/air. It might be a bit thin if you're heating isn't the greatest in the winter.

Fun and bright for boys room Great vivid colors. Both of my boys, ages 11 and10, really enjoy the pattern esp after seeing the World Cup this year. The sheets are thin, and would not fit a thick pillow top mattress. The inside of the comforter is bright royal blue.

Great set for the price Perfect for a boy's room. The fabric isn't the softest, but the boy doesn't care, he loves anything soccer. I will say the fitted sheet is tight, so if you have a pillow top mattress, it probably will keep popping up. Our mattress wasn't pillow top and it still strained to reach under the corners.
