This is a memory foam eggbeater basically. I was not impressed initially. But turns out it's very comfortable. I has a slight chemical smell that faded in a couple of days. It sure did make my inexpensive mattress a whole lot more comfortable to sleep on.

This is the second one I have purchased. I wake up no longer sore and I sleep like a baby.

I bought this to go over a memory foam mattress, which was too stiff. This is a fantastic product.

Very soft & comfortable , I have a memory foam mattress that my teenaged girls thought was to hard & uncomfortable. Bought this they love it. Its not hot like some of the others. In my opinion its to soft ...if you like a firm feel you would not like this topper. If you like a softer feel you will love this topper.

This is by far the most comfortable memory foam I've ever had. I bought the 4 inch Queen size. The directions say to let it air out and relax into its own form. That took a bout 48 hours. No smell. It was fine. I wasn't sure if I should leave the pointy side up, so I slept on it both ways. Its sooooo comfortable! Worth the price.

This is so comfortable It's just what I needed to make my bed softer.

As others have wrote, it is worth spending the extra dollars to purchase a 4" topper instead of a 2 or 3" topper. Although I have no first hand knowledge of other toppers, I can say without hesitancy that when the foam expanded it appeared to be high quality and when placed on our bed, it fit perfectly. (I should add that when I removed the topper from the box the instructions were very clear. It should be allowed to expand on its own. Do not attempt to unroll it. This is no doubt true of all toppers.) When we laid on it, as expected, it gradually assumed the shape of our bodies and was supportive, but not too firm. About the second night that I laid on it, I fell into a deep sleep and when I awoke, I felt as if I had had slept extremely well and had sunk into the foam, which felt good. However, and I think this is also no doubt true of all memory foams, even with gel, which is supposed to dissipate heat, I had perspired. The foam does function as a barrier to the heat that normally escapes from your skin. I placed another sheet over it and have not had that problem again and am sleeping well. I highly recommend this product.

The large bumps feel a little odd when you are making the bed and when you are climbing into the bed. Once laying down, it is great. Worth the money.

The texture makes the bed look lumpy. i guess you could turn it upside down, but i haven't.

After receiving the topper, it expanded quickly and was ready for bed, no smell or issues. Medium support, nice topper, but not a fan of the textured bumps. For the price, it was a great buy.

But this mattress topper for my 22 year old son experiencing problems with his previous mattress topper heating up too much at night. He absolutely loves has made a great difference in the comfort of his sleeping hours

Well I guess I'm one of the few that cannot take this thing. Yes it's very comfortable, BUT it causes extreme pain! I thought I was making the best purchase based on everyone's reviews on how it helped them so much, but I guess not. The first week I had horrible hip pain when waking up (this is not normal - I'm 33!). I could barely walk I was in so much pain. Figuring I must be sleeping wrong, it eventually sorted itself out. Two months later and I've had a sore neck and arm for two weeks now. I've only had this mattress pad 2 months but I cannot take it anymore! My roommate wanted it, so we made a trade. Lasted 2 nights and he had the worst back pain he's ever had. So now it sits rolled up on the floor while we try to decide what to do with it. Do not buy this thing!

I wanted a lot of foam and large nubs. This mattress topper did not disappoint. Let it air out after unpacking and the smell dissipates. It's quite comfortable and hasn't deflated. Great buy!
