We just received our mattress protector. After one week of use, my husband and I are already impressed that the cooling feature of this product is actually working! Most mattress protectors that we've used in the past created extra heat but this one is pulling the heat away from us at night. We hope it lasts us for years to come.

Don't know about water proof yet.Hope not to fingers out.LOLWill fit up to 18 inch mattress easy.
