100% EFFECTIVE CHEMICAL-FREE ALLERGY PROTECTION 100% EFFECTIVE without strong or harmful chemicals. The material is a bit slippery/slick to feel but it helps the pillow slide right into the pillowcase without grabbing or bunching up in wadded wrinkles. The zippers appear to be of good quality and seal well. No signs of cheap short-cuts or cheap materials! YAY! Cleans up fantastic with normal laundering (small blood dab stain lifted without pretreatment!). I will be buying probably a dozen more to cover every last pillow in my house. I highly recommend this product to anyone who's nose and face wells shut from allergies simply by laying their head on a bed pillow.
