The print is, as described, a "serene" paisley; however, it's a mix of pastels--blue, green, yellow, beige--on a light cream ground with soft beige just a tiny bit more predominant than the green. (One of the questions was whether this was a green or tan print.) The overall effect is very pretty, light-reflecting, and enhances the daylight in the room. I'm very happy with this and it may go with some other colors in my bed linens. The fabric doesn't seem really "heavyweight" but it's not flimsy, either. It remains to be seen whether it retains its softness, color, and finish after washing and drying; my prior experience with some flannels has been disappointing in this respect.
I bought this as a protective cover for my bed, where my little dog perches most of the day, and am pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness of the print. Am also very pleased with the quality for the price! If I have a poor experience with its washability I'll return to update this review, but I'm hoping that won't be the case. Someone else said it washes and dries well.
