We bought what was obviously an earlier memory foam mattress some years ago, and our son has been complaining about comfort, heat and pain ever since. This mattress topper has truly changed his sleep quality. We can't compare to other products since we haven't had a topper before, but this one delivers. It also holds nicely on the mattress and doesn't seem to slip. So happy with this purchase.
