Madison Park Pierce 7-piece Cotton Twill Matelasse Comforter Set

This item is beautiful and great quality however the size should be more generous. I have a standard size queen mattress not even a pillow top and the comforter barely reaches the bottom of the top mattress. I wish I had ordered the king size for my queensize bed.

This is a nice break from traditional comforter patterns. The spread, shams and pillows are well made. It's the talking point of my guest room.

I love this set! I agree with some other reviewers that it is shabby chic but that's perfect for my bedroom decor. Also the color was not blue like robin's egg as I had hoped, it is more aqua green.

This is by far my favorite comforter ever. The comforter is exactly as described and is beautifully made with intricate touches and for the price cannot be beat. It matched my bedroom colors and artwork perfectly. I searched online and in stores for several months before deciding on this comforter and I am glad I did. The additional 3 decorative pillows make my bed look like a designer bed. Love, love, love!!!!

I am super pleased with the quality of the comforter. This is a very warm comforter, so this will be perfect for our cold winters. Very happy with my purchase.

Product info says 100% cotton with 100% polyester fill. In fact, the comforter reverse side is only 53% cotton. I asked for a replacement since the Great Offer Stock agent by chat (I have the transcripts) said it was an error in shipping and now i see, I have been sent the very same one again. Why say this at all and initiate a replacement without checking? What a waste for Great Offer Stock to be spending such money on returns, which obviously get passed on to other customers. And what a waste of time for customers.

Great product.......this bedspread is lightweight, colorful, and snag resistant, which is important because I have 2 small dogs with sharp nails. Plus, it was a great deal.

I have ordered bedding from other companies in the past. They were poorly sewed and made from flimsy material and tore when I tried to put my pillows in the shams. I've had this set for a few weeks now and am very pleased with all the items. The comforter is a good solid weight and covers the queen bed well. The pillows are high quality and well made too. The background color on the comforter is a little darker than the picture, more of an ivory-tan than ivory, but the other colors are true. I'm very happy with it and I think it will last a long time!

I believe the queen size comforter is 90 x 90 inches. Why a square for an oblong bed? I have a 15.5 in deep mattress. The comforter doesn't adequately cover a queen sized bed. I noticed another customer bought a king size comforter for her queen size bed. I should have done this, too. If I can find sheets for my extra thick mattress that should help disguise the problem of the gap between comforter and dust ruffle. The comforter is NOT matelasse' as described. There are occasional vertical stitches scattered across the comforter to anchor the stuffing, but it is not quilted. Upon opening the package I noticed everything was extremely wrinkled which is to be expected. I used my iron's steam setting and lightly hovered across the comforter while it was on the bed. However, when ironing the bedskirt DO NOT iron the cheap fabric the dust ruffle is attached to. It easily melts. Aside from the above issues, I like the set. The accessory pillows are quite lovely on the bed and a bonus for such an inexpensive set. I do not consider this a high end purchase but it is fine for a guest room. Having moved to the mountains I wanted nature inspired bedding but wasn't looking for a rustic cabin style with deer and moose. The birds are appealing though larger than I would have liked. I'm still working on making the set work. But I have to say it was a good buy, and if I can find sheets large enough for my mattress this set will look lovely. It's just a hassle getting there.
