I used gentle washing, etc & the stuffing absolutely disintegrated. There was/is no way to shape it to normalcy. If you have this for looks only, it'll be fine, but if you actually intend to use it on the body, be cautious on laundry day. Very disappointed. I recommend a duvet cover or quilt if you're looking for lasting & durable bedding. These comforters are always a crap shoot & 95% of the time they are cheap & not as advertised. I really messed up & they won't exchange the item... I checked. Good luck!
