When in the higher thread counts you sacrifice some softness. I happen to like the stiffer cotton but some might not.

They tell me it feels like silk, fits the comforter perfectly:-)

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I have never been so pleased with the quality of a product before even when I purchased it first hand from a store. I am planning to get another for myself soon when I redecorate my bedroom!

This duvet cover is fantastic. It is heavy and substantial feeling, and made with high quality fabric. I got the red and the color is very rich and pretty, with a nice sheen to it. I do wish it had corner ties but so far no problems with the duvet slipping around. I would definitely buy this again.

I would return except past return. For 1200 count feel like cardboard, not soft, DO NOT BUY. Bottom line very disappointed in bedding products from Great Offer Stock so lesson learned.

These are my absolute favorite sheets. They extremely thick & comfortable. I enjoy the stiffness they have. They are stiff because they are so thick. They're great in the summer when you don't want a heavy blanket.

Very nice quality. Very heavy though. If you are looking for something light, this would not be the one.

Ordered the ivory duvet cover set after not being able to order one from pottery barn in ivory for my king bed - so glad I did. This set is well made and much more reasonably priced.

Heavy cotton but nice material.

They do wrinkle, but when it's 100% cotton how do you get sheets that DON'T wrinkle....? I iron these and it's just lovely. they are not too thin. Would buy again for the price and quality

I bought this duvet for our BnB, and had washed it twice in our brand new industrial sized washer and dryer, when I noticed two smal wear holes in one of 3 duvets. I didn't take the time to inspect the other two since guests were on the way, but for the price, there's no way these should be developing holes after the second wash. These duvets are also close to impossible to get unwrinkled. Ironing a duvet is unrealistic, but I've done everything in the book short of reverting to the 1950s and breaking the iron out, and the duvets show it.

I love the reviews from customers that have not only purchased, but used the product before giving it a review. I bought this and the Luxor Treasures 600 Thread count Wrinkle resistant duvet. This one is amazingly soft! It does not wrinkle after washing. I appreciate a good red wine, and I am so happy that if spilled, a little wipe and voila! Gone! Great purchase! I would repeat this buy!
