Hotel Grand Naples 700 Thread Count Hungarian White Goose Down Comforter

I first purchase this comforter for myself about 2.5 years ago and we love it. My daughter loved it so much that we splurged and bought her one earlier this year. We just recently got around to re-decorating her room (so did not use comforter immediately). Initially, I thought it seemed lighter/less fill but since down comforters need some time to "fluff", we thought it would get better. We put in dryer with tennis balls and laundered in the same manner as the the first comforter and it just didn't get any better. Upon closed inspection, we figured out the problem. The boxes or baffles aren't stitched properly on the second comforter so ALL of the down ended up on at the edges leaving the middles portion essentially a think sheet of cotton to cover you. I contacted (via chat) customer service today and explained the situation (as well as the reason for the delay in contacting them). After a lengthy back and forth and the agent not wanting to do anything but reimburse *** (really?? I paid *** for essentially a sheet!!). FINALLY, he said I could return (at my own cost-which will be a lot) and the warehouse people will decide how much reimbursement I will receive. Ridiculous! While I understand I was past the 45 day return window (we wouldn't have had it laundered sooner than that so therefore, we wouldn't have discovered the problem sooner than 45 days anyway) they should be a bit better at thinking "outside the box" because not every defect will present itself within that time frame. I am going to take the risk and return the comforter and hope that the reimbursement is fair. I will update later. P.S. I do a lot of shopping at Great Offer Stock and have done so for many years. Thought I would be treated better than this :(

With the price I paid for this comforter, I was expecting a comforter that has decent if not great packing. When I opened the package, I saw a plastic bag without any labeling indicating the item I purchased. There is no mention about the specifics (thread count, down filling etc) of the comforter. I requested for a replacement, specifically indicating that I need to know the package I receive contains a packing with all the detailed information. However, the replacement is just the same as the previous one. I am very disappointed.

Fluffs up just the right amount and is warm but not boiling! Nice feel to the fabric. Quality buy.

It's definitely not an extra warmth quality. I think it's only medium warmth quality.

This comforter is great! It is WARM!!! Holds the heat nicely and for my wife who is always cold... Now she is too warm under this...We removed from our bed because it made us too warm. I like to room about 70 degrees for sleeping. Wife wants it at 80. Great quality though. I would highly recommend this comforter.

Because this is only down the baffles need to be fluffed up extensively daily. The other problem is that some of the baffles aren't closed so the fluff ends up on the outside. I used to like Great Offer Stock but the product quality appears to be moving towards discontinued/QA rejects vs. actual Great Offer Stock.

I don't think this was white Hungarian goose down. It was a little too heavy.

My opinion is not important. If you like what you see you make the decision to buy or not.

This a great purchase. Warm but light weight. Can't wait to use it in winter!

I was amazed at how comfortable this pillow-top mattress truly is. I originally went into a "Big Store" to check out several of their adjustable beds and mattresses. After nearly choking on the prices, (which seemed to vary greatly and felt more like I was purchasing a new car rather than a mattress), I came back home, sat down at my computer and did what I should have done in the first place. Purchase it online from Great Offer Stock. Not only did I get the rewards from this purchase, but I was thrilled to find that I was able to apply my Discover card rewards, and bring the cost down even further. The company that came out for delivery and set up were amazingly careful, super fast (under 15 minutes to set up! I live with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and sometimes "live in my bed". I had the opportunity to test and see how this mattress would work under those conditions just this past week. I was able to work comfortably from the bed, sitting upright, and then with one push of a button, lay flat to sleep peacefully. The pillow-top adds a bit of softness, yet the mattress is firm enough to keep a backache away! Thank you once again, Great Offer Stock for an amazing purchase!!

My nose is very sensitive for dry air, so I don't turn on heater during the winter night. This comforter keep me warm and so light weight. So I can sleep very comfortable and wake up happily. It is a great buy, but just a little bit pricey. Love it!

The comforter was very soft and warm. Perfect for a cold winter night!
