These pillows are super soft like sinking into a pile of feathers!
I have had these pillows for over 6 months and they are not extra firm. They have not held up well, do not feel similar to down at all (even though they are touted as down alternative). I will be looking for two pillows again which is too soon.

Why does "down alternative" mean one big hunk of foam? As opposed to one big hunk of down?? No justification for the "down alternative" claim; if used as bedding, a couple of bricks could be considered "down alternative." However these pillows do not heat up as much as foam usually does; I did not wake up with the back of my head soaking wet. Decent choice if you want a bouncy foam pillow. If you want down or down alternatives, look elsewhere.
