    • Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor. Before use, item should be put in dryer, tumble dry low heat for about 15 mins. This will fluff the duvet and it will not seem so thin and will also eliminate any odor.

    We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

I use it over a quilt and I stay plenty warm--and I like to keep my apartment very cool at night. Next time I might do a little more research--I'm sure I can find a fluffier duvet for much less money.
