Organized closet

It's one of the most important rooms in your home: your closet. That might sound like an exaggeration, but think of how much you can fit in a closet with good storage solutions. Where would you put all your shirts, jackets, pants, shoes and skirts if you didn't have a closet? Of course, while closets are certainly indispensable, they can be made even more useful and convenient with closet accessories. Closet accessories, like closet organizers and shoe cabinets, can help you make the most of your closet space and keep your clothes neat and organized.

Closet Accessories:

  1. Closet organizers: Most closets are equipped with little more than a clothes rack and a shelf. Closet organizers are organization systems that you install in your closet and that feature a variety of different shelves and drawers, helping you better use your closet space. Closet systems come in different materials, ranging from inexpensive wire shelving to durable and attractive wood closet organization systems.

  2. Shoe cabinets: Large shoe collections are wonderful; however, the jumbled messes that they can make on your closet floor are not wonderful. Shoe cabinets, shoe racks and other shoe organizers are a simple solution to unruly shoe collections and protect your shoes from scuffing, too. Shoe cabinets are short cabinets with shelves spaced to accommodate a lot of shoes. Shoe racks are often shelves that sit on the ground, allowing you to stack several shoes in one spot. If you don't want to have your shoes on the floor, you can also find hanging shoe organizers that allow you to make the most of vertical space.

  3. Sliding closet baskets: Laundry baskets and hampers work well to store dirty clothes between laundry days, but sliding closet baskets can work, and look, even better. Sliding closet baskets usually install directly into the wall and are made of metal wire. You can toss dirty clothes into the basket during the week and then simply pull the basket off the sliders when you want to do laundry. You can also find shallower closet basket that can be a great way to store accessories like gloves and hats.

  4. Closet towers: If you have plenty of hanging space in your closet but would like more shelf space, a closet tower may be what you're looking for. Closet towers are tall, narrow closet storage systems that have a variety of different shelves in which to store different items of clothing and accessories. Closet towers usually screw directly into the wall of your closet, so you won't ever have to worry about your tower tipping over.
