I put oil on this table and it only brought the color out even more. I get more compliments on this table than I ever thought I would. Looks great with one of the benches and some black metal cafe chairs. My kid can even on it. You will need to treat the wood in some way if you want to put food or glasses on the table. And be warned, like most reclaimed wood tables, you never know what color you’ll get or how flat the surface will actually be. That’s part of the beauty in the table.

I'm giving this only 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the one we received this second time around is MUCH darker than the photo, and entirely different from the fist one we purchased 18 months ago. That said, yes, I am aware that these are reclaimed wood and made to order, so I was not expecting an exact copy of the first one I bought. But because I was trying to come close to pairing it with the sideboard from the same collection, I was taken aback momentarily when I unpacked this new table and it was entirely different in color, and even size and type of boards used. However, after putting it into the dining room space, with the chairs and sideboard I already had, I found it works perfectly in that "mismatched reclaimed wood" way! I now love it just as much as the first one. Be aware though, that the photos in this line may not be entirely representative of what you'll receive. Great Offer Stock customer service is really good though and may be able to help you include a note in your order if you need a specific color etc.

So proud of this piece
If you are looking for a sturdy dining table for a small space with enough character to fill a stadium, this is it. I admit I was a *** *** addict but have grown frustrated with recent order/delivery issues and their high prices. I checked out Great Offer Stock to find my new dining table and was glad to find this one from Timbergirl. The table arrived early and was well packaged - a bit heavy (90 lbs) but I expected that from the description. The table is in 3 pieces - the reclaimed wood top with the bolts and washers attached on the side and the two metal leg bases. Assembly is as simple as unscrewing the bolts from the table, attaching the legs and tightening the bolts. The table top is made of lovely reclaimed wood with various natural elements of the wood exposed and very subtle hints of ivory and turquoise paint finish. The color was a surprise but is faint and adds so much character to the table. After assembly, I wiped the table top with Murphy's Oil soap to bring out the lovely color and wiped down the legs with Windex to knock off the dust. I have four suede dining chairs that sit two on each side comfortably. I really cannot say enough good things about this table.

I actually needed a long office work space, but I didn't want the typical desk look. Of course its perfect as a dining room table. Everyone compliments my work space.

Love the table!
Absolutely love the table. I definitely think not having a picture of the top is leading anyone in the wrong direction. The top of the table has a lot of paint on it. I liked the style but others may not.

THIS IS FABULOUS! I absolutely LOVE my Dining Room table. Just funky enough. No, you really cannot use this as a desk (although it would look cool) because it is not smooth. My guests admit they keep trying to 'find a DR table like mine!'
