    I liked this island so much! The natural color of the wood and the rustic look is perfect! Compact size goes great in a small space, would have looked so gorgeous with black granite countertop. Mine arrived damaged but if you're lucky to get yours intact it's beautiful! Please be aware that the measurements advertised are incorrect. I made the mistake of ordering granite countertop for it prior to receiving it based on the measurements advertised and lost my money which is disappointing. The measurements were incorrect so the countertop was too small. The Correct measurements are 33.5 x 17.75 NOT 16.75, so one side fit perfectly but the other side is way too short. I took this as a sign that it was not meant to be for me.

    I just received this little island, and I love it. First, it came fully assembled, a big plus given I hate putting together furniture. Second, it is extremely heavy and sturdy. Third, the island is the same height as my counters, so it provides much needed counter space. Fourth, the pictures don't do this piece justice. Neither the description nor pictures make it clear that the island is identical on both sides. In other words, the drawers go all the way through and have pulls on both sides, which means this piece will look good serving as a small island or sideboard. Fifth, the description fails to mention the piece comes with detached casters, so if you need a mobile island, this will work well. If I had to complain, I would note that the middle and bottom shelf are mostly plywood as is the inside of the drawers. For the price, this piece is phenomenal.
