Lovely ring. Another reviewer claimed the ring turned green after a short period. I don't know how this could be true. There is an international sterling silver hallmark on the inside of the ring, & it certainly didn't turn green after I wore it daily for a few weeks. The stone is a very pretty color of purple. I got the size 5 which was a little bit loose on my ring finger. The ring is a bit larger than most rings I wear, but not too large.

Absolutely beautiful ring
This sterling silver and amethyst ring is one of the prettiest rings I have purchased through Great Offer Stock.com. The picture really doesn’t do it justice. The scroll work around the stone is beautiful and the amethyst is a beautiful shade of purple. The silver and the stone are of high quality. The sizing is “true” and I wish they had this ring with other stones because I certainly would order it. One of my favorite purchases from Great Offer Stock.

By the way, the amethyst is a beautiful shade of purple - not too dark, and not too light. Added bonus for me are the frangipani flowers of which my mom loved the scent. Amethyst are one of my favorite stones and a review stated it was a deep purple. Most of them I have seen are fairly light. So hearing it was a deeper purple made me know it was something I wanted to get and the detailing of the ring is very pretty as well.

I had recently purchased this for my niece in Maryland and she loves it. So my niece in Chicago's birth stone and I had gotten her an amethyst ring last year but; she said it was a bit large for her taste - but I suggested she keep it anyway. I decided if I found another one that I thought she d like that I'd purchase and send it to her. This ring is a deeper purple like she likes and a bit more dainty -so I'll see when she gets it.
