Nice blind. I use mine for a door way that has no door. The pull string does not lock easily 100% of the time. I would say 60% of the time. Not the great, but then again, not the most expensive.

Very decorative blinds with subtle colors, but both blinds came with similar problems with the attached cords.

I concur with other reviewers who were dismayed at the color difference between the online picture and the real item. It is a pale copper color and gray. For me the most disappointing thing is that the picture is fuzzy. From 20 feet away the picture is attractive but when you can see it up close the blurriness of the print makes it look cheap. I am using it as a wall hanging so thank goodness I don't have to figure out how it works.

This is not the shade you are looking for if you want to black out a room. The mechanism is a little rudimentary and fragile, but it's quite beautiful and unique.

I bought this blind to cover a closet opening until I could get a door installed. I opened and closed it many times, and it was still sturdy when the carpenter came weeks later to install the real doors.

I like the idea that these blinds are made by a family business . The colors are much more muted than the image onscreen which is fine with me. They are more of a soft coral background and the Phoenix design is stunning. I plan to pair them with a soft teal colored swag with metallic copper accents. Well worth it and a real find!

Colors are not as vibrant as pictured. Cheap looking product, but quite nice design.

This is quite nice and adds interest to my window. It was rolled the wrong way so I unrolled and re-rolled it up. Oh well

I installed 5 of these in our sunroom. They have a faded look that is charming, as if they've been there for 50 years. These are not high-end, they are typical roll-up blinds, but the pattern sets them apart.

color duller than photo but works well in a dark bathroom with sun shining through.

Cant see the Phoenix very well with sunlight coming in. I backed it with blackout fabric from the craft store. Inexpensive and worth it to see the Image clearly.

I purchased the blind to put over my glass door as the dimensions were perfect. It would make a wonderful addition to my living room. However, because each bamboo stick is not closely knit (for lack of a better term) with the other, too much of light shines through it and hence makes the painting on it look very dull. My placement plan for this changes - I will use it as a wall hanging instead. But I am very happy that I bought it. For the price I paid, I wouldn't find such a beautiful piece anywhere!

The picture of the item shows vibrant colors. The video promotion of the 'artist' shows a clearly defined and outlined phoenix. The bamboo blind is actually a very pale rendition of what was shown.

Love, love my bamboo window shade! Still allows dim light to come through. Ethereal. Plan to buy the geisha women screen for another room. It is holding up well.

Better than I had even hoped. The color is wonderful, softer than pictured. During the day it is backlit, letting in sunlight but blurring the image. At night it is easy to see. Since I roll mine up about 2/3rds most of the time, the large bird does not show but it is still pretty. Since the back is not colored and I do not want a large roll of tan showing at the bottom, I roll it by hand underneath and then adjust the cord so none of the blank roll is showing. This is a subtle elegant addition to my living room. I ordered 2 as I have a dble window. Even tho my windows ar 30" wide, the 36" shades mounted on the outside of the window frame look great.

I am very pleased with these blinds. They really added a special touch to the room. They are not as vibrant in the day light, but really show their colors at noght.
