i really like this blind...as long as it is filly extended, the painting is mostly at the bottom and the trees are in the middle,,,,so if you roll it up it loses all the painting. I have it over a back door in the winter, so its great as long as its crappy outside :) and don;t want to roll it up

Story Behind the Art:
This handcrafted item and many others come from a third-generation family-run workshop in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home, training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor

Poppies The description did not state that the picture only covered half of the length. You can not tell what the picture is during the day. If I had seen it I probably would not have purchased it.

Where's the painting??? Online photos of all the blinds show the painting filling the blind. Not only is this not the case, the painting begins at the bottom, not at the top as shown. So none of the painting shows unless the blind is down and the design doesn't start until about half way down. I had hoped the line of trees would show when the blinds were rolled up - not a chance. My windows are shorter than 72" so we dismantled the blind and cut off the excess at the top, but the painting is still half way down the blind. I ordered three for a bow window and kept them as they will serve the purpose but not as decoratively as I'd hoped.
