Sarongs are one of the most versatile and earliest forms of clothing, dating back 1,000s of years. These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well-known for their skill, creativity and expertise, specifically their skills in batik. Many of these sarongs are made using this art of batik. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

So far, So good. To be honest I have not used the sarong as yet. I will be going on a cruise in November and plan to use it then.
