'My dear Aunt Adelfa patiently began teaching me to sew and embroider, she was a true artist. I perfected my skills and techniques and I developed my own style. I began in 1973 and today I've built up a family workshop. Together with my family, our main material is cotton fabric, woven by hand in a nearby town. My designs use many motifs representative of Maya art.'Features a button closure
