Received our reclaimed teak desk about two weeks ago. (Was shipped from Salt Lake City, UT -so took a few days.) The desk is fine....decent quality, but the color was waaaay darker than that pictured on the internet. We were hoping to get the lighter color to match some other pieces that we had purchased from Great Offer Stock. We then contacted Great Offer Stock, and they immediately had another shipped to us. [Overstock is great to work with on any purchase issue, and we have made several (8-10) purchases from them.] However, the replacement desk was a "mellow brown" -as someone else described it, and we elected to keep the first one (which was even darker). [The second had a piece in the front that did not match the other wood used, at all.] Our take is that this is "reclaimed teak" being used, so there probably is no consistency in the color of the wood(s) utilized. Thus, the color is going to vary.....if that is an important factor in the purchase. And, after all, this is a relatively inexpensive desk. If it were a $*** desk, you might complain some. But you get what you pay for.
