I purchased this item for my 7 y.o. Great Nephew. However, without any notice, Great Offer Stock apparently had to substitute the item I purchased for one similar. My Nephew received 18 vehicles instead of 12, and the ones he received were also larger than the ones originally ordered. Both orders were made of plastic. He was thrilled when he opened the box and saw so many toys. Each one was boxed separately, so he really had a time opening all the boxes. I paid $** for my original purchase. I was not able to find out what the replacement items cost, but because of the size and quantity given, I am assuming they cost more. The toys are made of plastic and appear to be good quality. My nephew is hard on toys, so we will have to wait and see how long they hold up.
