This knife like most of Spyderco's "premium" versions exhibits top drawer fit and finish both evident upon arrival. After handling it around the house for a couple of days I found it to be just a bit small for my hands, not a real smooth opener, and rather angular / sharp around the scale perimeter edges. The back lock scale cut outs are shallow and the lock bar edges on the angular / sharp side making closure somewhat hard on the thumb. The blade steel and sharpness are first rate yet not as sharp out of the box as have been some of the lower cost knives (Spyderco and others) I have purchased. So, it is hard to seriously fault this little beauty....it just simply is not for me according to both my hand size and preference for "feel" in the hand and one handed closure (or perhaps closure any which way you might try to accomplish it). But it is a very nice knife if it should suit your ergonomic and functional preferences. The pricing through OS was the best I could find, however, I did return it. Quality is on par with most of the finer knives out there (five star) so you may find it to be suitable to YOUR preferences in this level of knives.
