Love these pants. Wear them in the winter on my harley.

Polartec 300 fleece pants (according to tags on garment) with reinforced knees and seat. Full length 32++ inseam. These are part of the militaries ECWCS clothing System. The funny zipper situation spoke of by other people is humorous as Each leg zips up or down completely so you can take these pants on or off easily without removing your boots or other clothing. The waist has elastic straps and it sits like a pair of Levi's 505 jeans. These can be worn as over pants or under really baggy Gore-Tex pants. Trying these on they are super warm! I washed them with technical wash soap from Nikwax and then hung them to dry inside, which happened in about 22 minutes. There is a DWR finish applied at the factory. These are not 100% waterproof but work well under rain pants. Super warm!!!

I really like these pants, the only thing that would make them better is a drawstring to help manage the size and a fly.

This has to be the weirdest product I've ever bought. On the plus side is that the fleece is thick and warm, the trousers well-constructed. The problem is the design. (Are these what "military pants" are?) There's no front zipper. (Is this a unisex item?) You have to put on the pants by unzipping and rezipping both sides and then fastening the Velcro straps at the top of the zippers at both sides of the waist. Also, there are no belt loops through which to pass and hold a belt to keep the pants on firmly. And with no front zipper, to do one's business, one must unfasten the belt, unzip the pants at both sides, and then repeat the process of rezipping, re-Velcroing and rebuckling the belt. Very strange product!
