I received this game from Educational Insights in exchange for an honest review.
My three year old and I really enjoyed playing this game. The pieces were well made and keeping the acorns in the bottom of the box (the tree) was an awesome idea since we seem to lose pieces frequently to other games/puzzles.
My child had trouble the first time holding the squirrel and collecting the acorn but the more she used it, the better she got.
This game reinforces colors, fine motor skills, and the concept of taking turns. Although my daughter couldn't quite understand why she had to put her acorns back when she landed on that corresponding space on the spinner, once we added a fun sound effect she didn't seem to mind.
I really like the fact that this is a game we can come back to over and over again!
