Excellent! My cats love this. I had some reservations about it before ordering as they were used to a carpeted post that was only about half the height of this one. But they went right to it and use it all the time. The height gives them a chance to really stretch and for my great big boy it's a bonus. I'd never tried sisal for them before and I like that it doesn't shed like the carpeted one. A nice wide heavy base on this never tips the post. My big male is 20+ lbs. and it stays upright for him.The price is high but worth it in the long run.

Cat doesn't like it. this is a great scratching post, with the wood top and base it blends in with my current furniture very nicely. However, my cat will not touch it. I've tried cat nip spray on the post, cat nip on the base with no luck. I'm thinking it is the wooden base because it is fairly large and all of her other posts have had carpeted bases.
