I had been looking for a booster seat large enough to hold two Coton puppies and also keep them safe. This booster seat works great. It has straps on sides for the seatbelt to go through and straps to hook onto their harnesses. I use it mostly for short trips around town and to PetSmart. For long highway trips, I use a crate. It can also be used as a bed, which is great for travel.

This is a very nicely constructed, well made car "bed"; It is not a booster! I was very disappointed. I needed the booster for my dog to look out the window when we travel to keep him from being anxious & annoying. This would have been no different that using his regular bed. I returned it at an expense of $10 shipping. Nice item, incorrectly advertised!

This seat is excellent. It has two tethers for the dog(s) in the seat. I guess if you are using it for a single dog, you would clip the two tethers to the same dog and that way, she couldn't get out to the left or right. My dogs are 22 lbs. and 11 lbs. and they both fit comfortably in seat. They easily lie down in seat (they are touching each other) so make sure your dogs like each other. The seat can be installed lengthwise across back seat or width-wise so that the seat covers the place where your feet normally go if you are sitting in back seat. There is a sleeve on two sides so you can slide seat belt (takes a little effort) through sleeve according to which way you want to install seat. There is also another strap that goes over the headrest of the seat in front to secure the seat if you are installing it width-wise so the seat doesn't sag down in the front of it. Installed this way it allows your furkids to have the entire window length to look out. The seat has a nice cover but is a little hard. It is stiff so it doesn't bend when installing it width-wise. My dogs seem to like it. I installed it recently in the middle seat length-wise and put the strap over the middle console. That way the seat goes up to the middle console and they can be closer to us. We can use the outside seats then for extra passengers. Also, Great Offer Stock was definitely the most economical place to buy the seat.

I feel so much better since Groupie, my border/aussie has a car seat, booster seat, seat belt and bed in the back seat. It's just high enough that she can open the window and stick her head out, and she can't get into the front seat.

I was so afraid that this would not be big enough. Everything seems to be sized for small dogs these days. This car seat is the best I was able to find and I had looked for a long time. My Subaru Impreza Sport has bucket-like leather seats so I rolled up a towel to fill the gap and placed a black cabinet liner on the seat for grippage. Then I strapped it down and bought her a seatbelt. My 35 lb dog has so much room I tossed in her old pillow bed from my previous car. It's fits her well, she can lay down on long trips and if I need to put a human guest in the back they are not inundated with dog-land back there. Great find!
