I use these outdoors for our farm dogs. They are waterproof and the dogs use them. I will be washing them in the spring. We'll see what happens to the waterproofing after the wash.
Great bed for the price. My dog likes to dig and scratch on his beds and the newspaper print fabric is fairly thick (similar to canvas material). He hasn't been able to rip this bed up yet and I've had it for a few months now. I just ordered a second one. Washes well too. I did have an issue with a snag in the lighter fabric lining the sides of the bed and had to sew it up which is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. The bottom of the bed on the outside is waterproof which is nice for cleaning up accidents. Overall I'm happy with the product.
I foster cats and dogs, and the only pet beds I buy are from Majestic Pets. This bed has a waterproof cover, and yet is still soft and comfortable for the dogs (and cats). The cover can be removed and washed, and the fill is a pillow - not loose fill like some companies use. These are extremely durable - I now own 4 of them. And its absolutely the best product when you combine all these features with the fact that they are made here in the USA, providing jobs here and lowering your carbon footprint with this use made product.
This is by far one of the nicest, most inexpensive waterproof crate mats I've bought for our English Mastiff. She loves it & its been great. It fits perfectly in her gigantic crate.I'm very pleased with it.
