Looks great, but a bit pricey for the quality...
While this item is quite pricey, it is a nice looking piece. For the price, I did expect better quality, but it is unique in the fact that it matches the rest of the living room, so, alas...style wins.
I have invested in several pieces of human seating in my life, from several different retailers, in several different price/quality brackets. I'd equate this pet sofa to that of a human sofa bought at Ashley Furniture, for example. Looks great, stylish, but feels a bit shoddy in construction. I'm sure it will do the job, but I don't have high expectations for life expectancy, and I don't know how long I can reasonably expect it to look as nice as it does new.
The bottom cushion is removable and therefore washable, however, it is not reversible: the underside has a black backing. (Be careful when removing the cushion; it is held in place by four elastic fasteners and you must unfasten them before the cushion will come off the frame.)
Both of my 50lb Vizslas fit comfortably together on this couch and it seems to hold their weight as expected. So far the color and fabric are disguising the appearance of wet nose spots and slobber marks, which I greatly appreciate.
Right now, my dogs and I are enjoying this pet sofa, but again, I am not completely confident it will stand the test of time. I've spent far less on a human chair that feels sturdier and has reversible cushions. Overall, I recommend this pet sofa if you don't mind spending a bit more for novelty rather than quality. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for use by anyone over the recommended weight limit of 100lbs.
