My fussy dog actually loves this bed!!! Ruffy, who is about a 13 year old Pomeranian is as fussy about everything he eats, where he sleeps and generally the boss of the house wouldn't even go near the bed when I bought it. I thought with five (5) layers of protection he'd love it since he'd rather sleep on the floor. Now, only two days later I found him relaxing on the bed which he quickly evacuated. Now, one week later he prefers to go to sleep at night rather than sleep with me. Often during the night I go past his bed wondering if he'll go to bed with me. By it those days are over. On the one hand I'm happy that he's so comfortable in his bed but on the other, I miss my dog!!!

For my Great Dane I purchased this for my 190lb Great Dane PROS: soft fabric, no funky smell out of the package, and easy to zipper off and clean CONS: Although I was definitely looking for a thick cushion, I was hoping it would be a little softer- it's a pretty firm bed. The bolster sides could use some extra cushion too. My Great Dane really needs more support for her back and neck and these bolster sides don't quite cut it. She does use it off and on throughout the night so we'll keep it until it needs replaced and will likely find a softer bed with more support next time.

Great bed... This bed is awesome. It is huge and comfortable. I have washed the cover and it's relatively easy to get apart and back together. The bolster isn't quite as deep as I would like. My 106 pound German Shepherd loves it.

great dog bed, especially for the price Our dog loves it, and its plenty big for a springer spaniel (50 lbs) the foam is very thick. The bolster is a little smaller than it appears but serves the purpose. You can vacuum it to get the dog hair off. We haven't removed the cover to wash it yet.

The bed is definitely large enough for your Mastiff. However, I cannot speak for durability for a 200# dog. My 85# lab puppy sleeps comfortably and the foam/integrity of the bed has not been affected by his weight or size. He has been using for almost 3 months. Note: the fabric is kind of flimsy and not very "tough", so if you have a "chewer"....beware. It takes little effort to rip hole in fabric.
