Carlson Tuffy Metal Expandable Pet Gate

This gate is so difficult to set up, that we seldom use it. Once set up correctly, it does work fine.

The description on the website says this gate expands to 42", but when it arrived, it said right on the box that it only expands to 38". The opening I planned to use it on is 39" so I had to return it. I've reached out to Ovestock twice asking them to correct the error in their description but they've yet to fix it. I just didn't want someone else to purchase it expecting it to expand to 42" because of Ovestock's description.

Love this gate. Very well made. The little door is perfect to let the cats in but leave the dog locked out.

Durable and easy to adjust. I had other pet gates that don’t hold the expansion. This pet gate keeps the position and is sturdy. Very good value also.

Hard to fit in every opening especially when walls are not 100% even. But works and seems r be good quality.

This gate is solid built and very easy to take in and out. Would recommend to anyone to control their pet or child.

This is a good expandable pet gate that is easy to set up and it stays in place without a problem. The only drawback on it is that I can't step over it very easily. Therefore, if you need to get through the area where you are putting this gate, you might want to opt for a pet gate with a walk through door made into it.

I use this is a doorway to keep my dog away from the cat food. Works perfectly. Easy to install.

this gate is so great!! it has a little doggie door on the xorner of the gate. it is tall enough for my schnauzer to refrain from juming over and short enough to step over!! it is solid metal and very sturdy!!! buy it!!!

Perfect product to cordon off kitchen/dinning room access from Bailey. The gate works great. Easy install and take down.

It took only one trip over my previous gate to make me look for a lower one. The cat doesn't have as high to jump and the dogs can see into the room. It's a happy fix for all!!

This gate is a ***** to put up. You think you got it, and then it falls. The frustration factor is not worth the price of this baby. Look at another kind of gate with a different type of closure/lock. This one is highly unreliable.
