The desktop that I installed came from a local company and is functional. The frame attaachment points at the top and at the legs could be better as the desk can rock back and forth with little encouragement. It is sturdy enough for typing, no matter the height, but it should not be used as a brace when standing.

Works perfectly! My boyfriend and I were wary over how well this desk base would work since it's a lot cheaper than other standing desks (granted it's just the base, but still). We set it up last week and it has been working perfectly. Such an amazing deal! Just buy a desk top at Ikea for like $20 bucks and you have yourself an economical, perfectly working standing desk!

Description didn't say it was USED Very poorly packaged. Box it came in broke on delivery with steel legs flying out of box. No instruction manual to set it up nor any hardware to put it together (though most of it is already assembled probably since this is used). Description did not say it was a used desk...but can tell it is as the leg supports are scratched up in corners and there are finger prints all over the key pad to raise and lower the desk. Going to have to return...as I would never spend *** dollars on this and then have to go out and find the proper bolts to attach the leg supports and the table top supports to the base!
