This is a handsome chair, strikingly designed and comfortable to sit in. However, the wood grain finish on the back of the chair is quite fragile and scratches easily. It works great as a infrequently used chair to decorate up an interior, but would begin to look dog eared if used often.

The chair was not assembled! There were coasters to be put on, 8 screws to attach the bottom to the back. It was not hard to assemble, but false advertising was involved.

Very classy, retro style chair. Looks great as bedroom, corner chair and is used as office chair when working from home. Comfortable, sturdy and timeless style.

The side curves of the chair make it so uncomfortable on the legs, cant stand to sit in it for more than 5 min. Back wood veneer has completely chipped away. Not worth any money.

Easy to assemble .. except 2 of the screw holes did not line up so those screws are sitting on my desk .. the "wood" back is all ready peeling off after less than one week of use .. the tension knob is useless .. would not recommend. I am 65 years old .. I do not spin or slide across the room in abandonment nor stand on the chair .. makes me ponder what shape it will be in after two weeks of use :(

As per other reviews, assembly was SUPER EASY. Note of the two chairs that are similar styles being currently sold on Great Offer Stock, this one is the widest. Despite that, if you're big or overweight, it is a close fit on the seat. Because the sides curve upwards, there isn't the width here that a normal chair with a flat seat would have. It's inherent to the design's limitations. As an occasional chair or short-use desk chair, it's fine. The back seems naturally angled very slightly backwards. I wouldn't call it a lounging position, but know that when you sit in it, you will not feel like you must "sit straight at attention." The woodgrain might be just a plastic wrapping but it is distinctly grained and quite handsome. The padding is firm but feels comfortable. Note this is a mid-level quality chair at best, but for the discounted price it is a stylish and handsome buy. If you are looking for a casual-use chair that fits with Mid Century Modern or Contemporary/Loft decor, I can strongly recommend this as a good value.

This repro is very well built, and of great quality leather and real plywood. I had to return the original one I purchased, due to scratch on the wood, but Great Offer Stock not only shipped a new backrest out (eliminating need for entire replacement chair), they were exceptional in their service and in expediting the piece.

Love it! Quality is amazing and it is so easy to assemble.
