This is a good item but the fact that a CPU cannot fit underneath the shelf is a negative for me. I have to sit the CPU on the floor because the cords would not permit the stand to be inside of the shelf. Also, the CPU is too large for the space it fits too snug if the cords are not attached and the on button or the CD slot cannot be pressed nor opened. It was a good concept to have a corner table for a computer but the execution was a slight fail. My computer chair cannot fit in the space because the computer is sitting right in front of the table instead of inside the shelf. The good thing, is that it does have a slide out keyboard part. The desk came as directed, it has a black wood finish, it is sturdy, and the assembly was not hard at all. It brought two extra triangular pieces which we tried to figure out what it was for and the instructions nor the pictures suggests where these pieces connect to. If you have a small CPU stand or a monitor that already comes attached with the CPU then this desk is great and on sale its even better. Otherwise skip this if you still own the throwback CPU system. Maybe in 2018 all computer CPU's will be miniatures and can fit in this space comfortably.
