Not worth the price Although the desk works for what it was bought for, I would not pay the price listed - it is cheap chipboard and as soon as you press down too hard while writing, what you wrote is in the desk.

Great for student's room My teenage son was looking for a desk for his room to be able to accommodate 2 monitors and still have room to do his school work. This desk is perfect for that! The two of us put it together and the instructions were fairly easy. Some of the panels were scratched which is why I am only giving this 4 stars. He loves this desk and it looks just like the picture shows. The price makes it very affordable too!

Love it It took about three hours to assemble, we accidentally had the shelves on the wrong side, so that was our fault. It's beautiful, steady and the perfect desk for any room in your house, big enough, too. Highly recommend.

Works well, decent price, not very durable I got this desk for a sewing table/storage area for my many, many sewing goodies (the patterns and fabric have their own room. We're talking books and buttons here). It's a nice size and the bookcase area comes in handy. I like the color and the overall sturdiness; my sewing machine is not light, and it doesn't seem to be bowing after 7 months of use. However, the material itself is speckled and never really looks completely clean. I don't mind too much, but if you're super clean, it might annoy you. What does bother me is that the surface is not durable; I dropped something on it and it dented it and took off a bit of the finish. The side piece that is glued down popped out in two separate places (really annoying as my fabric snags on it a lot) and I can't glue it down again. In short, it does the job but it's not exactly a quality wooden desk. Not bad for the price but not intended for long-term use if you really are using it for desk-type things.
