After researching many shoulder briefcase bags, I'm convinced this one is perhaps the most durable and expandable for the price. I need a long bag and 5 inch width for the kinds of books and laptop that I own. Its only drawback is the ridiculously flimsy paperclip-thin clips for the neoprene hooks on rhe shoulder strap. They started coming out of their "spring holes" by the 3rd week of use and one fell off on the NYC subway last night. Now I'm substituting a shoulder strap from an industrial level travel bag. But generally, this bag and its many small compartments for pencils, pens, little notebooks, calculators, markers, highlighters and teaching implements really works for me.

The first one I got, the strap clasp was broke. Returned it and got another, within the first week, a clasp broke and the strap would disconnect. When I would pick it up, the strap was disconnected.

This is possibly the best messenger bag I've found online. It is well stitched, sturdy canvas and has lots of pockets. Flap has zip exterior pocket, back has document pouch with velcro tab closure. Interior has large expandable zip compartment and separate open compartment. Interior organizer included a zip coin compartment, space for 3 pens/pencils, two small open compartments for phone or notepad, and a wider compartment suitable for a tablet with a velco flap closure. I expect this will hold up for a very long time. The only drawback is the spring-clips for the shoulder strap are not very durable, and can pop out leaving just the plastic hook.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It has replaced the european bag I had. Never thought any bag could meet that expectation. But this ne did.

Lots of room with the expandable pocket. The expandable pocket doesn't have a divider, but there is a smaller interior pocket. Lots of room for pens, cables and chargers. My son loves it. He carries a tablet for school along with his lunch and music. Lots of room and it keeps everything separate and safe.

It has a lot of compartments and is holding up well fitting into a very small middle school locker. My first backpack I bought him didn't fit at all. He doesn't use it for a computer. It's lightweight and he likes it, so that's what matters!

Received this bag and decided to store it away until I find an opportunity to give it away. Not what I had in mind. Not a great material, not sure about the many pockets, a bit small.

Needed separate brief for a second class I was taking without having to switch back and forth with books and supplies. This is perfect, light weight and fashionable.

Good for simple use ..has alot of pockets and for the price you cant get any better than this..good bag ..not for heavy use

Nice work bag with various compartments for pen, credit cards and laptop. I like it better that some of the expensive ones you find in the store.

These canvas bags are perfect… But the clasp on the straps are very cheap and poorly made , the clasp broke on its very first use! But the bag itself is very well constructed and I'm still happy with purchase. Any luggage strap will attach, so I'm just using one of my many spares on this bag.

The cloth holds up good. The plastic clips for the straps brake. A quick fix is to replace them with aluminum climbing clips. Plastic gets better in the cold.
