Built to last? Check.
I must admit, this backpack is better than I had hoped for. I wanted something good looking, solid, and versatile to replace a well worn Ogio that self-destructed a few trips ago. This is it. The material is thicker than I thought it would be. The zippers are stronger and sleeker than I thought they would be. The level of craftsmanship became obvious as soon as I took it out of the box. The Chinese seem to have kicked it up a notch, this backpack is very well made. It is a simple design. It doesn't have a zillion pockets to look through until I find what I'm looking for. (Thank goodness!) It sits upright on its flat base. It has a built-in strap on the back which conveniently attaches to the handle of my luggage. I have a total crush on the Orange/Sienna colored version of this (seriously) but, much to my chagrin, I couldn't find it in stock *anywhere*. I looked for a month. Really. That being said, I decided to bite the bullet and went with blue. I like the color much more than I thought I would. I'm planning on sewing various fabric patches that I've accumulated over time on the front of the pack. I think it will look pretty sweet. I'm glad I went with this one. It is a good looking backpack with loads of character. The design is simple, yet elegant. I'm looking forward to many adventures with this little guy.
