The desk and pedestal is awesome now that it's all done. However, holes were way too big for size screws & anchors provided. It took 6 hours to put together desk and 3 hours for pedestal, so pitiful? Luckily the 2 guys who put this together had mechanical backgrounds. Also, impossible to ever think of returning these as original packaging was packed so very precisely and professionally put together. This should be corrected for the next person who buys this and has no mechanical skills like myself.

I like the look of the desk. The assembly took quite a bit of time and when I got to the last drawer to put in the drawer is off and will not fit. I am at the point now that I will not unassembled it. I will have to take off the part of the drawer that pulls and add a piece of wood and then reattach the pull and see if I can make that work. I know it is not the way I assembled it because the other two side drawers work. Not sure it is worth this hassle.

Looks amazing. Pieces missing. A beast to get together. Lol. But sometimes beauty is painful.

I ordered both pieces, and both arrived promptly with all the parts. Except for the drawer bottoms, everything seems plenty sturdy. Putting it together did require help from a friend, at least for the desk, in order to hold up the heaviest parts while using a screw driver or a hammer (note: you'll need both) but it wasn't horribly painful. A little confusing, regarding the unnecessarily complicated part naming convention, but after a few hours both pieces were done. I really like both, they look great in my living room. I do wish the corners were more flush, the edges aren't as clean as I'd like, and the drawers aren't as neatly pushed in as I'd prefer on the desk. But otherwise, I am pretty pleased with my purchase, and feel pretty confident it'll last a good number of years. The only somewhat flimsy part is the drawer bottoms, I would not add unnecessary weight to any of the drawers. I don't know why they're not more solid, honestly. But the pieces do look lovely.
