It's a smidge short for an actual floor lamp that would be sitting on the floor. So, we put ours on a decorative little storage box. It sits in our entry way and collects compliment after compliment. Because the light is so well distributed within the body of the lamp, people are constantly drawn over to it and feel that they must touch this thing of beauty. It really is stunning looking, well made and a great value at this price. We also have the smaller tabletop version, and love it just as much. Although it is less impressive looking just due the size of its' larger sibling. So, in summation, it's beautiful, functional and well made. Buy it! You won't regret this purchase. :)

My son calls this lighting theater lighting since it is not really bright, but very soft and mellow and a great look. It is lightweight and requires no assembly and will compliment any room. I love this lamp and should have ordered two.

Was so looking forward to this lamp. Taken out of box and crumbled in my hands. Dont waste ur time on this, made in chine piece of junk!

I have two matching table lamps but when I placed my order for this one it took a week before I canceled this order the supplier took to long to ship

These lamps are expertly made. The craftsmanship is apparent. I deducted one star due to the diminutive height of this floor lamp. For my needs, it could be taller, but overall this lamp is unique and well-made. I would buy this lamp again.
