Quality OK, but here are 3 issues: 1. It was very hard to get the umbrella over the stand. It is heavy and bulky, hard to manuever. 2. The base, as mentioneb in other reviews, doesn't hold the weight of the umbrella. Needs to screwed to a deck (screws not included) or you need to add some seriously heavy items to the base to hold it. 3. One other issue: any wind moves the umbrella (and arm) around from the area it is intended to cover. I wish there was a way to lock it in place and stop it from turning. 4. I am 5'3, and with the stand at its lowest possible height, I still can't reach the open/close crank. 5. Unless you are over 5'7, and live in an area with no breeze, look for better options. UPDATE: It hasn't been a month since I set up the umbrella and it is going to the curb. One of the inner ribs snapped out of place, the wind flipped the umbrella inside out. Do yourselves a favor and this cheap and poorly made item.

I wouldn't purchase again as they do not work well for our needs. I wanted something stylish that provided plenty of shade and was easy to operate. They're actually not very stylish nor are they terribly easy to operate. Also note that they have a unique base so we had to order something different than we had.

It’s a really nice umbrella, great for providing shade. Love that we can swing it around to cover our deck. It’s a little bigger tan I expected, it will probably get moved to the patio this year.
